About Tamara K. Vincelette

I have more than 30 years of experience helping clients resolve their legal issues. While I previously worked for Holland & Hart, a large, primarily corporate law firm, my interest in human relationships and helping families through transitions, led me to work with individuals, and ultimately to launching my own firm in 2005. I have practiced in the family law arena almost exclusively since 1995, and I am trained in the Collaborative Model for divorce.
My philosophy about divorce is that it is too often a too stress-filled process. As an attorney, I like to help my clients look forward, to think about the positive things that life can offer, rather than to dwell in sadness and regret about the past. I understand that no single model of divorce works for every client. I will discuss the alternatives with you so that you can make an informed decision about the process and what will work best for you and for your family.
I can represent you whether you choose to work in the traditional litigated divorce model, the emerging Collaborative Law Model, or through mediation. I can also help on an unbundled legal services basis.
I live in an old Denver neighborhood with my husband, who is also a lawyer, and our cat, Spencer. In my free time I enjoy gardening, reading, skiing, road biking, and watching independent films.
